When it comes to the problem of unemployment Carlow is just as affected as all other parts of Ireland.
This website is a Carlow County Development Board ( comprising representatives from Local Government,
Local Development Bodies, Statutory Bodies and Agencies and the Social Partners ) collaborative
initiative to try and assist Carlow people currently unemployed or facing the prospect of becoming
unemployed. This website was created to link all the information available both locally and nationally
to aid people in such a situation and to provide the information in one location.
This is a difficult time for you, most probably one you did not anticipate but now you need to take
a look at your options for a new start. It might be an opportunity to look at further education and
training, maybe progress a business idea or spend some of your time volunteering.
